Joy Knight, LPC-S, M.A., EMDR, CDC-II

Joy brings nearly a decade of professional counseling experience and over 25 years of marriage and family life to her work as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. She is trained in EMDR, Gottman Method couples therapy, Internal Family Systems, and attachment-based approaches.

Joy’s background includes physical therapy and substance abuse counseling, giving her deep empathy for both physical and emotional pain. In the therapy room, her style is relational, flexible, and creative—whether that means traditional talk therapy, mindfulness exercises, or even walking sessions.

Clients appreciate Joy’s ability to hold space for both laughter and depth. Her Christian faith informs her approach, and she’s glad to incorporate prayer or spiritual insights when desired. Joy has a special heart for couples, parents, and those navigating hard transitions, always working to help clients reclaim hope and joy.

Elizabeth Parret, M.A.

Elizabeth is a warm, empathetic counselor who creates a safe space for clients to be heard, known, and supported. She holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and is currently completing her licensure under supervision. Her clients often describe her as genuine, insightful, and easy to talk to.

Elizabeth offers therapy at a lower fee to help keep care accessible, while bringing strong training and a deep sense of compassion to her work. Her integrative approach draws from multiple methods to support each person’s unique needs and goals.

She works with clients of all ages and has a special passion for walking with women through life transitions—including pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. With both professional and personal experience in this area, Elizabeth helps clients navigate anxiety, depression, and major changes with grace and clarity.

Levi Brown, M.A.

Levi will begin seeing clients October 2025

Levi Brown is a pre-licensed counselor who considers it an honor to join others in the sacred space of counseling. He is passionate about supporting people in their personal growth and meeting them wherever they are on their journey.

Levi earned his Master of Arts in Counseling from Reformed Theological Seminary and brings a diverse background of life and supervisory experience to his practice. He draws from an eclectic counseling approach, tailoring sessions to each person’s unique needs.

He believes that effective counseling begins with relationship and connection, and he welcomes all to explore whether working with him is the right fit. Levi has particular experience and passion for walking alongside those navigating relationship challenges, men’s issues, addiction, and trauma.

Levi’s Christian faith deeply informs his counseling and serves as the foundation of his understanding of human dignity. He seeks to help all people—regardless of background—live into that truth. Outside of counseling, he enjoys exploring Alaska’s great outdoors with his wife and dog, reading fantasy and sci-fi, and spending quality time with friends around a fire.
