Joy brings nearly a decade of professional counseling experience and over 20 years of marriage and family life to her work as a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor. She is trained in EMDR, Gottman Method couples therapy, Internal Family Systems, and attachment-based approaches.

Joy’s background includes physical therapy and substance abuse counseling, giving her deep empathy for both physical and emotional pain. In the therapy room, her style is relational, flexible, and creative—whether that means traditional talk therapy, mindfulness exercises, or even walking sessions.
